Financial Management Specialist (PPS-10)

Only one position is available for Financial Management Specialist. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing financial management expertise and supporting the project in financial reporting, accounting, budgeting, coordination and other related assignments.

Required Qualification

Candidates applying for the Financial Management Specialist position should possess one of the following qualifications:

• CA
• ACCA
• ICMA
• Equivalent relevant qualification

Preference may be given to candidates having a Master’s Degree or equivalent sixteen years of education in Public Financial Management, Finance, Accounting or another relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university or institution.

Required Experience

Applicants must have at least eight years of documentary verifiable relevant experience after acquiring the required qualifications. Candidates should have suitable experience in Public Financial Management.

Experience in financial reporting based on International Public Sector Accounting Standards within Government institutions will be considered an important advantage.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Ability to work on accounting software or Enterprise Resource Planning packages.
• Knowledge of systems such as SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft will be beneficial.
• Knowledge and ability to work on FABS, the Government Financial Accounting and Budgeting System.
