Available Positions
Director (Procurement)
The position of Director (Procurement) requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering such as Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or a degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration from a recognized university. Professional certifications such as CIPS, CSCP or an equivalent qualification will be preferred. PMP, CIPM and formal training or certification in public or donor-funded procurement rules will also be advantageous.
Applicants must have at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in procurement and contract management. Candidates with a minimum of three years of experience in the power sector will receive preference. The maximum age is 50 years as of the closing date.
Deputy Director (Project Planning & Business Strategy)
Candidates for Deputy Director (Project Planning & Business Strategy) should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Project Management. A Master’s degree in Project Management or Business Administration, together with relevant professional certifications, will be preferred.
At least 8 years of post-qualification project management experience is required. Preference will be given to professionals experienced in project planning, Planning Commission documentation, EPC contracts, PPP projects and joint ventures. The maximum age is 45 years.
Deputy Director (Project Finance & Budgeting)
This position requires a 16-year Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce, or membership of a recognized professional accounting body. A Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting will be preferred.
Candidates should have at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting and budgeting, ERP, project financing, treasury management, financial modelling or financial reporting. The maximum age limit is 45 years.
Deputy Director (Civil)
Applicants for Deputy Director (Civil) must possess a 16-year Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. A Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and professional certifications such as PMP, NEBOSH or IOSH will be preferred.
Candidates need a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience in civil infrastructure projects. Experience managing multi-contractor civil construction programs and knowledge of construction standards, codes and specifications for energy infrastructure projects will be an advantage. The maximum age is 45 years.
Deputy Director (HSE/ESG)
Candidates should have a 16-year Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering, Energy and Environmental Engineering or a related field.
A Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management or Occupational Health & Safety will be preferred. Certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or ISO 14001 Environmental Management can also strengthen the application.
Applicants must have at least 8 years of HSE/ESG experience, with energy infrastructure experience preferred. The maximum age is 45 years.
Deputy Director (Quality & Technical Assurance)
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial or Energy Management is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree in Engineering Management or Quality Management, or certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Certified Quality Engineer.
At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in Quality and Technical Assurance is required. Experience in infrastructure, power, utility or industrial projects will be preferred. The maximum age is 45 years.
Deputy Director (Project Delivery)
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Civil Engineering. A Master’s degree in Engineering Management or Project Management will be preferred.
The required experience is at least 8 years in infrastructure project delivery. Preference will be given to professionals experienced in engineering design coordination, procurement, EPC projects, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and project close-out. Experience reviewing specifications, drawings, method statements, work programs, inspection plans, quality documents and contractor submissions will also be valuable. The maximum age is 45 years.
Deputy Director (Legal)
Applicants must hold an LLB degree from a recognized university. An LLM in Corporate Law, Contract Law or a related specialization will be preferred. Arbitration or dispute-resolution accreditation will be an added advantage.
Candidates require at least 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a reputable national or multinational organization. Experience involving contract law, commercial law, public procurement, EPC contracts and regulatory proceedings will be preferred. The maximum age is 45 years.
Deputy Director (Monitoring & Evaluation)
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, particularly Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering. A Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration will be preferred.
Candidates must have at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in monitoring and evaluation of projects. Preference will be given to applicants experienced in developing and implementing M&E frameworks and preparing PC-III, PC-IV and PC-V documents. The maximum age is 45 years.
Remuneration and Contract Period
Selected candidates will receive a market-based salary package, with the final compensation determined through negotiation according to qualifications and experience.
All positions are purely contractual. The initial appointment period is three years, including a three-month probation period. The contract may be extended depending on satisfactory performance and organizational requirements. These positions will not be regularized and the contract service will not be pensionable.
Eligibility and Important Conditions
Candidates applying for engineering-related positions must generally be registered as Professional Engineers with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Engineering professionals currently working abroad who are not registered with PEC may also apply. However, if selected, they must obtain and provide valid PEC registration within the required period to confirm eligibility.
Government, semi-government and autonomous public-sector employees are also eligible to apply, but they must apply through the proper channel and provide an NOC issued by their organization on official letterhead.
