Qualification Required
Applicants must possess a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture from a recognized university.
Candidates having an MSc (Hons) in Agriculture will be preferred.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of agriculture and community-based agricultural activities and should be able to work effectively with farmers and local communities.
Experience Required
Candidates should have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in agriculture, Farmer Field Schools (FFS), community-based agriculture, or related development projects.
Applicants with practical field experience and knowledge of working with rural communities will be preferred.
Job Responsibilities
The selected Female Field Facilitators will support project activities under the ZCRA Programme and work closely with local communities and farmers.
The position will involve facilitating agriculture-related activities, supporting Farmer Field Schools, coordinating with community members, and assisting in the implementation of project interventions related to climate resilience and sustainable agriculture.
Candidates should be comfortable working in field locations and communicating effectively with community members and project teams.
Local Candidates Preference
Sami Foundation has stated that preference will be given to local candidates from the respective project areas.
