Financial Analyst – Debt Management Unit – 01 Post
The position is intended for a qualified finance professional who can support the Debt Management Specialist in financial analysis, debt-related transactions, policy formulation, reporting, and other activities of the Debt Management Unit.
Qualification Required
Candidates applying for the Financial Analyst position should possess one of the following qualifications from a HEC-recognized university:
MBA (Finance)
MSc (Finance)
CFA
CA
Equivalent qualification
Applicants should have a strong academic and professional background in finance and should be capable of performing financial analysis and related responsibilities associated with provincial debt management.
Experience Required
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification relevant experience.
Applicants should also be proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, as the position requires regular financial analysis, documentation, reporting, and preparation of presentations and reports.
Age Limit

Job Responsibilities
The selected Financial Analyst will assist and provide support to the Debt Management Specialist in performing day-to-day functions of the Debt Management Unit and will report on official matters as assigned.

The Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis to support loan negotiations and debt repayment decisions. The selected candidate will also provide timely advice regarding the desired currency mix and tenor of new borrowings to loan negotiators.
The candidate will be expected to understand the functioning of domestic and international capital markets as they relate to debt management and the public policy responsibilities of a provincial debt manager.
The position will also involve maintaining liaison with key stakeholders within the Government of Sindh as well as relevant stakeholders in the Federal Government.
Other responsibilities include managing debt-related transactions, providing comprehensive statistical support, preparing key periodic reports, and assisting in assessing the full range of financial risks and exposures arising from the debt portfolio.
The Financial Analyst will also perform other duties assigned by the Debt Management Specialist to facilitate the effective functioning of the Debt Management Unit.
Salary & Contract Details
The selected candidate will be offered a competitive, market-based salary package under the special pay package arrangement.
The appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for a period of two (02) years. The contract may be extended for another two (02) years, subject to satisfactory performance appraisal by the competent authority.
