Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Institute of Trauma (SMBBIT), Karachi has announced various vacant positions for qualified and experienced candidates. Applications are invited from eligible Sindh domicile holders for the following positions on a contractual basis.
Available Positions
Specialist Anesthetist
Qualification: MCPS (Anesthesia) with valid and effective PMDC registration. Candidates having post-qualification experience in a reputable hospital will be preferred.

Fellow Plastic Surgery
Qualification: FCPS in Plastic Surgery with valid and effective PMDC registration.
Age Limit: 45 years

Resident Medical Officer – ICU Anesthesia
Qualification: MBBS with completed house job and completed FCPS/MCPS/DA training in Anesthesia (ICU Anesthesia), with valid and effective PMDC registration.
Age Limit: 45 years

Senior Medical Officer – ICU Anesthesia
Qualification: MBBS with house job and 2 years of experience in Anesthesia at a reputable hospital, or MBBS with house job and 2 years of ICU experience. Valid and effective PMDC registration is required.

Resident Medical Officer – Orthopedic
Qualification: MBBS with completed house job and completed FCPS training in Orthopedic Surgery, with valid and effective PMDC registration.

Digital & Content Marketing Officer
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field.
Experience: 5 years of experience in content writing, SEO, and digital marketing.
Age Limit: 40 years

Staff Nurse
Qualification: Registered Nurse with Diploma in Nursing and valid and effective PNC registration.
Domicile: Sindh
Radiology Assistant
Qualification: Diploma in X-Ray Technology from Sindh Medical Faculty.
Experience: 3 years of practical experience in a reputable hospital is required.
Age Limit: 35 years
Domicile: Sindh
Perfusion Technologist
Qualification: BS/BSc in Perfusion Technology with completed house job. Candidates with experience in a reputable hospital will be preferred.
Age Limit: 35 years
Domicile: Sindh
CSSD Technician
Qualification: Diploma in CSSD Technology with 2 years of experience in the CSSD of a reputable hospital, or Diploma in OT Technology with 2 years of post-qualification experience in a hospital CSSD.
Age Limit: 35 years

Aya
Qualification: Matric. Preference will be given to Matric-pass candidates.
Age Limit: 35 years

General Conditions
These appointments will be made on a contract basis for two years, which may be extended subject to satisfactory performance.
Candidates currently working in government jobs are not eligible to apply.
Only post-qualification experience will be counted as relevant experience.
Selected candidates will be paid salary according to the applicable Trauma Pay Scale. The appointment will not confer any right to permanent employment.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, and shortlisted candidates must bring their original documents at the time of interview.
No TA/DA will be paid for the recruitment process.
