The selected candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, administration, maintenance, and technical support of the AI/HPC Laboratory. The role involves managing AI workstations, GPU computing environments, Linux systems, networking infrastructure, software platforms, and other laboratory resources.
Qualification & Experience
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree (BE/BS) in a relevant field.
Applicants should have hands-on experience with Linux/Ubuntu, GPU/AI systems, or HPC laboratory administration. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with enterprise servers and data-center infrastructure.
The position is particularly suitable for IT, Computer Systems, Computer Science, Software, or related engineering graduates who have practical experience managing AI and high-performance computing environments.
Key Responsibilities
The AI/HPC Lab Supervisor will manage and maintain AI/HPC laboratory infrastructure and ensure that the available systems remain operational and accessible for users.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing AI/HPC workstations, GPU systems, cluster computing resources, and laboratory infrastructure. The role also includes installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux/Ubuntu and Windows systems, as well as NVIDIA drivers and CUDA environments.
The supervisor will work with AI and machine-learning platforms including Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Jupyter. The position also requires managing software environments and supporting Docker and containerized workloads.
Networking responsibilities will include working with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, network switches, and high-speed networking environments including 10GbE or higher.
The selected candidate will also monitor system and GPU performance, check hardware health, perform preventive maintenance, manage updates and backups, and troubleshoot technical issues.
Another important responsibility will be assisting in the deployment and maintenance of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and scientific-computing applications within the laboratory.
Preferred Technical Skills
Candidates with practical knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu and Windows administration will be preferred for this position.
Experience with NVIDIA GPUs and CUDA is highly relevant. Applicants should ideally be familiar with Python and commonly used AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Jupyter.
Knowledge of Docker and container technologies will also be beneficial. Candidates should understand networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, network switches, and high-speed networking.
Additional preferred skills include system monitoring and troubleshooting, storage management, RAID, backup systems, SSH, and remote administration.
Candidates with experience managing enterprise servers, data-center environments, GPU infrastructure, or HPC clusters may have an advantage.
