Sindh Police Jobs 2026 – Head Constable, Police Constable & Driver Police Constable
Sindh Police, Police Department, Government of Sindh has announced fresh recruitment against reserved vacancies for the Shaheed, Deceased, Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated Quota. Applications are invited from eligible legal heirs of Sindh Police employees for the posts of Head Constable (Wireless Operator BPS-09), Police Constable (BPS-07), and Driver Police Constable (BPS-07).
The recruitment is being carried out in accordance with the Sindh Police (Shaheed, Deceased, and Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated Quota) Recruitment Rules-2021 and the relevant government notification.
Available Positions
Head Constable (Wireless Operator) – BPS-09
Qualification: Intermediate from a recognized Board of Intermediate Education.
Age Limit: 18 to 28 years as on the last date of submission of applications.
Police Constable – BPS-07
Qualification: Matric from a recognized Board of Secondary Education.
Age Limit: 18 to 28 years.
Driver Police Constable – BPS-07
Qualification: Matric from a recognized Board of Secondary Education. Candidates must possess a valid Motor Car Driving License on the closing date of the online application. The candidate must obtain an LTV license within the probation period of three years.
Age Limit: 18 to 28 years.
Vacancy Distribution
The revised reserved vacancies are distributed among different Sindh Police ranges and units. The advertisement indicates vacancies for Karachi Range, Hyderabad Range, Mirpurkhas Range, SBA Range, Sukkur Range, Larkana Range, T&T Sindh, and CPO & other Units.
The revised grand total mentioned in the advertisement is 3,146 posts, comprising 2,717 Head Constable, 430 Police Constable and 11 Driver Police Constable vacancies.
Physical Standards
For Male candidates, the minimum height is 5 feet 5 inches and the chest requirement is 33 inches with 1.5 inches expansion.
For Female candidates, the minimum height is 5 feet with sound health.
The physical endurance requirements are:
Male: 1600 meters running in 8 minutes for the relevant physical test, while the advertisement also specifies 10 minutes for the Driver Police Constable physical requirement.
Female: 800 meters walking in 14 minutes.
Candidates must successfully qualify the physical test before proceeding to the written test.
Who Can Apply?
Only eligible legal heirs of Deceased and Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated Police Employees who died, were permanently invalidated or incapacitated on or before 26 September 2024 and possess domicile of Sindh Province are eligible under the relevant quota.
Legal heirs of Shaheed Police Employees who attained martyrdom up to the closing date of applications and possess domicile of the concerned Sindh Police Range may apply under the Shaheed Quota.
The advertisement further states that the reserved quota will first be utilized for the Shaheed category, followed by the deceased and permanently incapacitated categories according to the Recruitment Rules, 2021.
Documents Required
Applicants are required to submit attested copies of the required documents along with the application form. These include CNIC, Domicile, PRC/Form-D, four recent photographs, academic documents, Death Certificate, Obituary and Heirship Certificate of the deceased or Shaheed employee.
Where applicable, candidates must also provide the order relating to permanent invalidation or incapacitation, Declaration of Shaheed, FIR, Financial Compensation Order for Shaheed Quota, and affidavit of the spouse/widow and other legal heirs.

The completed application form along with attested copies of the required documents and four recent photographs should be sent through registered post or courier service to:

Applicants should carefully complete the form and ensure that all required documents are attached. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
Important Instructions
The recruitment process will be conducted according to the Sindh Police (Shaheed, Deceased, and Permanently Invalidated or Incapacitated Quota) Recruitment Rules-2021.
The original certificates and documents will be verified only for candidates called for tests or interviews. Any candidate found to have made an incorrect or false declaration will be disqualified at any stage.
The second claim for recruitment against the Shaheed Quota will only be entertained for eligible legal heirs whose fathers, brothers or husbands embraced shahadat after the promulgation of the Shaheed Act-2014 on 11 June 2014, subject to the applicable rules.
Candidates whose father or mother died or was invalidated before 2 September 2002 are not entitled to recruitment against the Deceased, Invalidated or Incapacitated Quota.
Candidates whose father or mother died or was invalidated on or after 16 September 2014 are required to apply within two years of the death or invalidation of the employee for recruitment under the relevant quota.
No application will be accepted after the closing date. No relaxation in the upper age limit, qualification or eligibility criteria will be granted.
The date, time and venue of tests and interviews will be communicated through SMS or published on the Sindh Police website. Candidates should regularly check the official website for updates, test schedules and other notifications.
Candidates will undergo physical, written and interview tests, while candidates applying for Driver Police Constable will also undergo a driving test. Only candidates who qualify the physical test will be called for the written test.
No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test or interview.
Sindh Police reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies.
