Applications are invited for Principals and Teachers for Daanish Schools located at Bagh and Bhimber in Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) and Ghanche, Sultanabad, and Astore in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
The appointments will be made on a contract basis. Principals will initially be appointed for two years, extendable for another two years subject to satisfactory performance, while Teachers will be appointed for three years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance.

Principal Jobs 2026
Daanish Schools Authority is inviting applications for 05 Principal positions, with one Principal for each school.
The Principal position carries a DS-20 equivalent pay package plus one additional basic pay per month.
Candidates must possess minimum 16 years of education, preferably a Master’s degree with at least 2nd Division, from an HEC-recognized educational institution.
Applicants must have a minimum of 17 years of experience as a Principal or senior faculty member, preferably in a reputable institution.
Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership and managerial capabilities and have the ability to command and inspire faculty and students.
Applicants should also have in-depth knowledge of school administration, including holistic grooming and personality development of faculty and students.
The successful candidate should be proficient in managing key operational functions of a state-of-the-art school, including curriculum development, hiring of teachers, and other ancillary responsibilities.
Proficiency in English communication is required.
The maximum age limit for the Principal position is up to 63 years.
A Principal appointed by the Daanish Schools Authority may be required to serve at any Daanish School anywhere in Pakistan, as determined by the Competent Authority.
Teaching Jobs 2026
Daanish Schools Authority has announced multiple Teacher vacancies in different subjects.
The teacher positions carry DS-16 plus one additional basic pay.
Generally, candidates must have 16 years of education in the relevant subject, with at least 2nd Division. Where CGPA is prescribed, a minimum of 2.50/4.00 or 3.50/5.00 is required from an HEC-recognized institution.
M.Ed./B.Ed. will be given due advantage for relevant teaching positions.

Salary and Contract
The Principal position offers a DS-20 equivalent pay package plus one additional basic pay per month.
The Teacher positions offer DS-16 plus one additional basic pay.
Principals will be appointed initially for two years, extendable for a further two years subject to satisfactory performance.
Teachers will be appointed for three years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance.
Open Merit Eligibility

Selection Procedure
Recruitment will be conducted purely on merit.
The recruitment process will be conducted through the Education Testing Council (ETC), Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for test and/or interview, as applicable.
No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test or interview.
The Competent Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, withhold appointment against any advertised post, or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.

Candidates must register themselves and complete the online application by pressing the “SUBMIT” button before the 4:00 PM deadline on the closing date given on the ETC portal.

Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay a test fee of Rs. 1,200 through the 1Link/1Bill Invoice Payment Service using the generated consumer number.
After depositing the fee, candidates must click “Verify Online Payment” on the ETC Dashboard.
The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Important Application Instructions
Only submitted applications will be considered. Applications saved in SAVE or INCOMPLETE mode will not be entertained.
Candidates must provide a valid email address and mobile number because examination details, including test date, time, and venue, will be communicated through email/SMS.
SMS will not be sent to mobile numbers that have been ported from one network to another.
Candidates must resolve any queries or complaints before the closure of the online registration portal.
Candidates must not bring a mobile phone, calculator, recording device, communication device, or imaging electronic device into the test center. Uploading or sharing images of the question book is strictly prohibited and may result in action under ETC-HEC rules.
On the test day, candidates must bring their original CNIC or original passport along with the Roll Number Slip issued by ETC through email or downloaded from the candidate portal.
Without the required original identification document and Roll Number Slip, the candidate will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
Candidates who have registered or applied using the CNIC of their parents, siblings, relatives, or any other person will not be permitted to appear in the test.
