Pakistan Rangers Jobs 2026 – Sepoy General Duty
Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) has announced Sipahi General Duty (BPS-05) recruitment for male candidates from different provinces under the prescribed provincial quota. A total of 964 vacancies are available. Eligible Pakistani male candidates can register online and appear at the designated recruitment centers for physical, written, medical, and other selection tests.

Minimum Education: Middle
Nationality: Pakistani
Candidates aged 18 to 22 years will be given preference in the final selection. The stated upper age limit includes the applicable 5-year general government age relaxation.
Provincial Quota
The vacancies will be filled according to the prescribed quota, including:
Merit: 72 posts
Punjab including Islamabad: 482 posts
Sindh Urban: 73 posts
Sindh Rural: 110 posts
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 111 posts
Balochistan: 58 posts
Newly Merged Districts / Former FATA: 29 posts
Gilgit-Baltistan: 10 posts
Azad Jammu & Kashmir: 19 posts
A 5% quota for minorities is also reserved according to the applicable criteria and rules.
Physical Requirements
Male civilian candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards.
Minimum Height: 5 feet 6 inches
Chest: 33 inches with 1½-inch expansion
Minimum Weight: 121 pounds
Eyesight: As per the prescribed medical standards
Candidates will have to pass the physical test, written examination, psychological examination/interview, and final medical examination.
Recruitment Centers and Dates
Online registration will be available from 17 August to 26 August 2026.
Candidates will subsequently appear at their selected recruitment center on the date mentioned on their online registration slip.
Recruitment will be conducted at centers including Lahore, Rahim Yar Khan, Mandi Bahauddin, Bahawalpur, Narowal, Chakri (Islamabad), Kohat, Warsak/Peshawar, Hyderabad, Quetta, Bhimber, and Gilgit.
For Sindh candidates, the recruitment center mentioned in the advertisement is Headquarters Thar Rangers, Hyderabad, with recruitment scheduled from 7 September to 23 September 2026.
Required Documents
Candidates must bring the required original documents and copies at the time of initial registration, including educational certificates/degrees, original CNIC, domicile/PRC, and recent passport-size photographs.
Candidates already serving in a government or semi-government organization must provide an original No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department at the time of initial registration.
Selection Process
The selection process includes the physical test, written examination, psychological test/interview, final selection, and final medical examination.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the psychological test/interview. Final selection will be conducted at Headquarters Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), Lahore, according to the prescribed eligibility and merit criteria.
Selected candidates will undergo final medical examination at Pakistan Rangers Academy Hospital, Mandi Bahauddin. Candidates who successfully complete the final medical examination will receive a call letter for training.
Training and Salary
Selected candidates will undergo basic training at Pakistan Rangers Academy, Mandi Bahauddin.
The Sipahi General Duty post carries BPS-05 basic pay along with applicable allowances and benefits under government rules. Free accommodation is provided, while married personnel may receive house rent allowance according to the applicable rules.
No TA/DA will be paid during the recruitment process.
