Important Instructions
Eligibility will be assessed on the basis of qualification, relevant experience, performance in the written test and interview. The selection criteria mentioned in the advertisement are 70% Written Test and 30% Interview.
Candidates currently serving in Pakistan Railways or any other government department must apply through the proper channel and provide a departmental NOC.
Incomplete applications or applications containing incorrect information will be rejected. If any submitted document is found to be bogus during or after recruitment, the appointment may be cancelled and legal action may be taken.
Selected candidates may be required to undergo training at the Pakistan Railways Academy Walton or Land Directorate. Selected candidates can be posted anywhere within the Pakistan Railways system.
No TA/DA will be provided for the test or interview. Selected candidates must also pass the prescribed medical examination.
The contract will initially be for 02 + 01 years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and approval of the competent authority. Additional increments may be added according to relevant years of experience, while annual increments will be provided according to the equivalent pay scale.
Other facilities may include accommodation, where available, and railway-related facilities such as duty/privilege passes, medical facilities from Railway hospitals and other applicable benefits. Pension, gratuity and GPF will not be admissible under the contract arrangement.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to increase, decrease, amend, suspend or cancel the recruitment process without assigning any reason.
